Workshops for Teachers Session 2021


Held on 16th September 2021, the Webinar on Stimulating Indian Knowledge System, Arts and Culture as a part of Shikshak Parv 2021 advocated a complete overhaul of the Indian education system and the inevitability of redesigning learning with an emphasis on the national context encompassing unity in diversity. Speakers were Mr Rabin Chhetri, Prof. Saroj Sharma, Prof. Girishwar Mishra, Dr Ameeta Wattal, and Dr Praveen Kumar Tiwari from multiple domains, institutions and locations. The speakers analysed the rich heritage of learning and achievements across subjects that our country has and observed that the current generation would benefit from inducting several such unexplored achievements in contemporary learning and skill development. Mr Shah, who chaired the webinar underlined the need for drawing from the Indian treasure trove of knowledge, amalgamated with global best practices and enlightening the world as never before.

The webinar went on for over 2 hours and included a short discussion on the need for Indians to be alerted to and feel proud of having inherited gems of civilization nurtured in India for a long.

Resource Person: – Mr Praveen Kumar, Director, Adatte E-waste Management Pvt. Ltd.

A webinar on E-waste Management was organized by Cambridge School to create an awareness among its staff members about the hazardous effects on health and environment of improper disposal of e-waste. The resource person Mr Praveen Kumar, Director, Adatte E-waste Management Pvt. Ltd. gave a detailed explanation on how the e-waste is collected, dismantled, and recycled. He also discussed the cons of throwing the household e-waste in the normal garbage and selling it to the scrap dealers. He gave suggestions for responsible disposal and recycling. It was indeed an enlightening session.


A Webinar for Role of social media in cooperatives is being organized at the National Level. The second such Webinar was organized on 9/7/2021 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It was telecast on FB live also. There were four Panelist who addressed members and dignitaries from various Cooperative sector at All India Level. The Panelist were

(2) Mr. HariKrishnan- CIO of ULCCS

(3) Mr. Vinit Koppikar- DM Marketing and Communication SPC Bank

(4) Mrs. Sumathy Raghunath PGT Commerce Cambridge School Noida.

The other panelist addressed specific steps taken by their respective organization for expanding their business through social media. A presentation on the role of social media, what considerations need to be kept in mind before choosing a media, the role of government in introducing Digi-India Movement and how it will benefit farmers and credit cooperatives, was delivered by Ms. Sumathy. Four students from class 11 Saniya Darbari and Jayant Tomar of 11 A and Ishi Pandey and Divyanshi Bhatt of 11 E assisted in making the presentation

The webinar was also attended by Ms. Preeti Sharma and 30 students of grade 11 Commerce and Humanities group.
The Assistant Director of NCUI Mr. Yadav and other panelist appreciated the presentation as well as the questions posed by the students.

The renowned Scientists from ISRO used Power Point Presentations/Videos and Live Experiments extensively. The workshop was an eye opener as many of us were not aware of how Satellite communication has entered a common man’s house and making our life more comfortable. Some of the areas are Soil and Water conservation, Area& Production estimation for major crops, Natural Resources Census, Weather Predictions etc. It was an enriching experience and definitely would help the teacher to motivate the students to join this Prestigious organization.

The Psychology Department of CSN, under their ‘We Care’ Program, organised a session with Dr. Pragya Singh (Senior Projects Manager) at Dharamshila Cancer Foundation and Research Centre on ‘Cancer Prevention and Palliative Care’ which was attended by teachers and staff of Junior & Senior Wing. The session was helpful in understanding the prevalence of Cancer in India and the various signs and symptoms on how the disease presents itself. Information was shared on the various stages and strategies for cancer prevention as well. Dr. Singh also introduced Palliative Care which is a more feasible option to cancer care and ended the session by answering important questions raised by the participants. The session was extremely informative and presented in a comprehensive and concise manner.
