Outreach Programmes

Outreach Programmes

The school’s motto – We Learn to Serve – reflects it’s deep conviction that a true education is one that promotes the welfare of the community.

Many programmes are conducted that aim to help, uplift and support those who are deprived of basic services and rights. Children visit old age homes, orphanages and schools for the differently abled as a part of the programme.

Outreach Programmes

Outreach programs sensitize students towards their duties and responsibilities within the society and community. It also serves the citizenship training goal of education through the development of various skills like soft skills, leadership skills and team-building skills. Most importantly, the aspiring teachers become aware, compassionate, and benevolent citizens who believe in the larger good of society.

Through INTERACT Club, the school promotes the involvement of students in philanthropic activities to build a stronger society. Initiatives are taken like donation drive of sanitary pads to school lady support staff members, books, toys, masks and old clothes to NGO Goonj and underprivileged children. Visits are made to Cancer hospital and students collect biscuit packets, maggi and grocery items and distribute among the cancer patients. They interact and spend time with such patients

AN ADDRESS BY THE “GUTLIMAN OF INDIA”

The school had the privilege of hosting Mr Jasmit Singh Arora, “Gutliman of India” on April 29, 2026, to address the students of classes VI-IX, regarding the Mango Seed Collection Drive. During his interaction, he expressed heartfelt appreciation for the students’ enthusiastic participation, highlighting that more than 20,000 mango seeds had been collected across all Cambridge Schools. Notably, over 12,000 seeds were contributed by Cambridge School Noida alone, reflecting the strong commitment of its students towards environmental sustainability. He encouraged the children to continue their efforts with the same passion this year as well and inspired them by calling them “Diamond Warriors” , as seeds are like diamonds—precious and full of the potential to create a greener future.

DONATION DRIVE

In alignment with our school’s core value of environmental sustainability and our motto, “We Learn to Serve,” a series of sustainability drives were organised on the session-end PTM day, March 28, 2026 in the school’s stilted area and the Indian dance room. These included a used books and stationery exchange, an e-waste collection drive, and a clothes donation drive.

The initiatives received an encouraging response, with parents contributing generously and students actively participating in the exchange. The collected notebooks will be given to Youth for Seva to

create new notebooks for underprivileged children, while donated clothes and shoes will be recycled or distributed through charitable organisations. These efforts reflect our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and caring for the environment.

CANCER WALK

The Interact Club organised a Cancer Awareness Walk on 6 February 2026 in collaboration with CanSupport to spread awareness about cancer, early detection, and the importance of empathy towards patients. Students from Classes V to VIII, along with teachers and volunteers, participated enthusiastically in the initiative.

Prior to the walk, students were briefed about the purpose of the activity and the work carried out by CanSupport. Wearing special event T-shirts, students carried placards and banners with messages promoting cancer awareness, healthy living, and compassion for those battling the disease.

The walk, conducted in an organised manner within and around the school premises, helped students understand the importance of social responsibility and community service. The initiative proved to be an impactful and meaningful experience, reflecting the Interact Club’s values of service, leadership, and compassion.
