REPORT – IMPORTANCE OF PLAY

On 21 December, 2018, six students from Interact Club OF Cambridge School, Noida accompanied by teacher in charge Ms. Kirti Sasan went to India International Centre for an event organized by the Toy Bank. The theme of the event was how a toy plays a pivotal role in developing a child’s mental, creative and eye and hand coordination. The Toy Bank team also appreciated our contribution towards underprivileged children of providing toys. Around 25 schools from Delhi and the NCR attended the event through a gamut of activities like poem recitation, skit, dance and theatre. They signified the theme so well that it encouraged the students to show their enthusiasm towards donating toys and helping the underprivileged in some way or the other.

The Toy Bank thanked all the schools for their immense contribution and hard work towards this noble cause by rewarding the participating schools with a trophy and certificates as a token of their appreciation. The Toy Bank has many branches all over India and has around more than 4000 toy libraries across India, every year. The Toy Bank is expanding their reach spreading happiness and joy in instilling the value of joy of giving

HOSPITAL VISIT

Theme-  Donation of Juice cartons and Get well soon cards to children ward patients Of Dr B.R Ambedkar Hospital, Sec 30 , Noida

On 21st December 2018 , The members of Interact Club ,Cambridge School, Noida, paid visit to Dr.B.R Ambedkar hospital,sec-30,under the guidance of the  teacher in charge Ms. Roomki Mitra.

This is multispecialty hospital  offers treatment to the cancer patients from the marginalised sections of the society .

This visit provided relieve to the patients as sympathetic  visitors are the part of their recovery process to reduce their stress, anxiety and  give comfort. The main objective of the visit was to sensitise students emotionally and socially  with this aspect of one’s life and promoting them to create awareness and healthier environment .

The team of students met  children in the Children’s ward with different ailments. The inmates  were excited and happy to meet the students and  shared their experiences . The Interact Club members gifted them juice packs and handmade “GET WELL SOON” cards.

VISIT TO INDIRA MARKET  NOIDA : PAPER BAG CAMPAIGN 

Theme-  Distribution of paper bags made by students of Interact Club

Group of students of class IX who are members of Interact Club had gone to Indira Market, located close to school on  16 Nov 2018 and distributed paper bags made by them to the street vendors

This is an attempt made by students to create awareness among the vendors  about the use of eco friendly options and discontinue the  use of plastic bags.
